We will help you get great passport photos for your child!  Follow these photo tips and your baby's passport photos will turn out great.

Obtaining a Canadian passport for your infant is an essential step to ensure that they can travel internationally.  To apply for one, you'll need to provide a passport photo of your baby that meets specific requirements set by the Government of Canada. Here are some great tips on how to get the best Canadian passport photo for your baby.

Timing is Key!

Choose a time when your baby is well-rested and in a good mood.  Fresh from a nap and earlier in the day are some of the best times; a content and alert baby will make the process much smoother!

Dress Your Baby Appropriately.

Dress your infant in plain clothing that contrasts with the white background, anything dark or with vivid colour can help them stand out; avoid any clothing with patterns, logos, or accessories that may obstruct the face.

Nail the Expression!

The baby should have a neutral facial expression, which can be challenging to achieve.  Bring along toys that your baby loves to capture their attention or even snacks to help them focus on somethings other than their photo being taken!
